Seasonal clearing, brushing and regrading of private cottage and camp access roads — brush cut back from the edges, ruts and bumpy washboard levelled out, and loose gravel pulled back toward the centre.
The Challenge
Years of encroaching brush had narrowed the roads to single-vehicle width and blocked sight lines, while spring runoff had cut ruts deep enough to catch a low vehicle.
The Outcome
Roads back to full width with clear sight lines, a surface shaped to shed water, and open edges that let water leave the road instead of running down it.
